Vaccination of infected, detected units in NAADSM 3.0 and 3.1

When vaccination rings are used in NAADSM 3.0 or 3.1, all units of the production types for which vaccination has been selected will be vaccinated. This includes clinically infectious units that have already been detected by clinical signs. Several NAADSM users have pointed out that it might be helpful to include the option not to vaccinate known infected units. This option will be provided in an upcoming major version, NAADSM 3.2. This new feature is described in detail in RFC-20090429ARb. In the mean time, users should be aware that detected units are vaccinated when vaccination is used as a control measure.
